I know it might be an add-on or an Active X control, but I can't tell which.
My IE 7 Explorer has been crashing a lot lately. Anyone else with the same problem?windows defender
go to tools and then manage addons. There you can turn them on and off. If none of that works you can always try firefox.

Only had a problem with my printer which stopped working. e-Mailed HP, they were on top of it with a fix, problem solved.
When was the last time you cleaned house (hard drive)?
First, in your case, I would do a Windows Repair. Here is information on that:

Then, I would run Disk Cleanup, Scandisk, DeFrag. These should be done every two weeks anyway.
With all this done, you might want to reinstall IE7.
I downloaded IE7, and uninstalled it within 2 hrs. I couldnt get it to work for me.
It crashed the first time I used it. I deleted it and went back to Explorer 6. A couple of months later, I downloaded it again, and I didn't have any problems. I think that is largely due to the fact that I use Firefox 99% of the time. Firefox rocks!
nope i use safari
