I have Windows XP and Internet Explorer, and I like to have many windows at the same time. The problem is, if I open a new window (Window 2) and start working on something, like typing, on Window 1, the computer automatically brings Window 2 to view, even though I don't want it to. Is there a way to turn this off? I don't want to see the stupid window the second it's loaded.
Annoying IE problem?replacement windows
You should try getting IE7. I use it, and it has practically the best tabbed browsing ever. Plus I think the RSS feeds are better, and it doesn't leak memory like Firefox does.
Or if you don't/can't get IE7, then use the Live Toolbar. It includes tabs, and Live Search.

I don't suggest Firefox though:

Though Opera is a good alternative:

Dude, IE SUCKS big time! I had exactly the same problem. Download Firefox, it worked great for me.
